If construction of football development were to occur from scratch, it should look nothing like how it does now; discrepant club, school, rep teams and training lacking any overall governing dynamics. In the current climate, ‘development’ is actually ‘attrition’. It wont stop athletes applying their utmost in pursuit of advancement.
The weightlifting team has expanded for 2018 with 11 team members from Youth to Masters. Keely and Jackson lifted at the Australian Open coming away with two Bronze medals.

2018 will involve hopefully a successful campaign in the US for football, Weightlifting at Nationals, Oceania and maybe even Spain! The local football codes will again be a feature of training load management every day through winter in particular. Aussie Titles for Surf Life Saving are fast approaching and will be in Western Australia in 2018. Best thing to do is to keep track of the SSS instagram and Facebook page or of course, come in and train: Indeed we are content and operations focused.
